Versilia upgrades Volotea’s onboard retail technology with MOST’s integrated payment and POS solution

Versilia Solutions, the onboard retail specialist managing Volotea’s inflight retail program, has successfully upgraded the airline’s onboard technology infrastructure by deploying a new retail and payment platform from MOST. The rollout includes advanced point-of-sale (POS) software, integrated payment processing, and custom smartphone-based hardware designed specifically for cabin crew use.

This move marks a major technology refresh for Volotea’s retail operations. Versilia, already operating the onboard program, selected MOST to replace the previous system with a more agile and integrated solution that improves operational efficiency and the crew experience. The new platform is fully connected with Versilia’s ERP system, enabling real-time visibility and seamless reconciliation across inventory, flight loading, onboard sales, and payments.

The payment setup also set a new benchmark: the merchant onboarding and activation process was completed record speed for a program of this scale.

Caroline Ulbrich,

CEO of Versilia Solutions, shared:

“We were looking for a tech provider that could deliver fast implementation and seamless integration with our systems, and MOST delivered on those priorities. This upgrade brings greater transparency, better tools for the crew, and the operational control we need to continue driving performance for Volotea. It’s an important step forward for the retail program.”

Jan Blanchard,

CEO of MOST, added:

“Versilia leads with operational and retail excellence, and we’re honored they chose MOST to power this next chapter of their inflight program for Volotea. Our mission is to make onboard retail and payments simple, reliable, and scalable and launching this solution in record time proves what’s possible when the right team and technology come together.”
