Forging the next generation of Versilia leaders across borders

At Versilia, we understand that leadership is not just the domain of the senior team and that to be successful everyone has a role to play. It’s not about being in charge – it’s about taking responsibility. So, we decided to invest in the development of the next generation of talent across all areas of our business to help them understand better themselves, the business and their role in helping to continue the Versilia story in the future,

With this vision, we launched the Management & Leadership Programme. This was the first course we have run and the start of something we will continue in the future.

This programme, in partnership with Hansen Beck, was designed to empower future leaders with the tools, perspectives, and connections needed to tackle challenges and make a lasting impact.

The journey began with an inspiring opening session in Colombia, where participants delved into the foundations of leadership. This was followed up with virtual sessions covering specific aspects of our business and to help our young leaders understand more of the context in which they operate. It concluded with a meaningful closing session in Chile, celebrating not only the completion of the programme but also the personal and professional growth achieved along the way.

 

What made this programme special?

The Management & Leadership Programme was not just another training initiative; it was a transformative journey designed to equip participants with the skills, perspectives, and connections needed to excel as leaders. Here’s what set it apart:
